This is the speaker for those who've spent $100K or more on a system and have come up short. Expensive electronics and wires. Big brand name well reviewed tour-d-force speakers. A really nice soundstage, focus, detail and a pretty good ability to 'carry a tune'.  Good looking too. Better than any of your pals have. But guts, energy, power and the real 'shock-and-awe' of a live performance?  mehh....not so much. Kinda like a Ferrari with a 300HP engine? Forget about it. Don't look back. Look forward. Our Bonecrusher is a loving, musical, sweet and juicy speaker that is all too happy to slap you silly. Capable of unhealthful, walloping sound pressures from bottom to top.  True to life dynamics.  Wicked attack then instant silence. The full measure of texture in the bass.  Just plain stupid, frankly. It's like Ferrari found a way to jam 2000HP into that car. 5 x 400 Watts on each side for a total of 4KW.....and, you’ll see, they obviously use every bit of that power. Give up and order a pair. Warning: if this speaker doesn’t play loud enough for you - you need hearing aids, not a stereo. specs: 5” AMT dipole  2KHz and up 7” 400 - 2KHz 9” 50 - 400Hz two 11” LF drivers 1.5” excursion 5 - 50Hz One dedicated 400W amp for each driver. 5 x 400 = 2K.  Three separate power supplies, no waiting Analog, optical and SPDIF inputs.  IR remote. 4 presets. Digital room EQ. This speaker is built individually for you. You choose the finish and cosmetic variations.  We’re a custom shop - we enjoy doing special things for our customers. Just ask. Here’s a schematic showing 5 x 400 Watters for a system total of 4KW.   Does this look like fooling around to you?
Meadowlark Audio Nightingale - Bonecrusher Loudspeakers
And, for scale, a lab pic of the ‘crusher proto aside a production Kestrel. As you can see - it’s remarkably compact for a speaker that can hurt you.
